Selling equipment yourself means photographing it, pricing it, listing it, and then answering three weeks of calls from people who may or may not show up. Consignment means we do that part, and you keep doing whatever your time is actually worth.
How it works
- You bring us the machine. We inspect it and go over its condition with you, honestly, because an accurate listing is what sells.
- We list it. Photos, a straight description, and placement in front of the buyers already shopping our inventory online and on the lot.
- Buyers deal with us. Questions, showings, tire-kickers, and the guy who wants to talk about a different machine entirely are our problem.
- You approve the sale. Nothing sells at a number you didn't agree to. Our commission is a flat 7% of the sale, so what we make is tied directly to what you make.
Why it beats a fence-line for-sale sign
Buyers trust a machine that's been through a dealer's inspection more than one sitting in a field with a phone number on the window, and they pay accordingly. A listing that's actually findable online reaches past the people who happen to drive by, which for most rural roads is not a large market. And the paperwork gets done right, which matters more than people think the day something needs to be proven.
SHOP NOTE
The machines that consign fastest are the ones that show their maintenance. Bring whatever records you have, even a shoebox of receipts. A hydraulic function that works, tires that hold air, and an oil-change history routinely beat a fresh coat of paint on price.
If you've got a tractor, loader, attachment, or truck you're done with, start at our consignment page or call 660-280-3880 and tell us what you've got. If a trade fits better, we do that too - see value your trade.
